Watt's Next? Meadowhall Charges Ahead with Electric Convenience

Leading shopping and leisure destination, Meadowhall required EV charging points for their customers across their multiple car parks; this included disabled and mother & child parking facilities for EV drivers

SCOPE

Design and manufacture scalable and future-proof Quantum EV charging pedestals, allowing Meadowhall to offer free-to-use charging to their customers, with the ability to offer pay-to-charge charging in the future.

SOLUTION

Rolec supplied and installed over 50 charging points. Initially offering free charging, these points are poised to potentially switch to a pay-to-charge model.

Our state-of-the-art QUANTUM pedestals not only facilitate charging but also serve as stylish amenity lighting across Meadowhall's expansive car parks, strategically positioned to cater to all, including disabled and parent & child parking spaces.

By seamlessly integrating with a chargepoint management back-office, Meadowhall now manages its own charging network, aligning tariffs with energy costs while also exploring avenues for additional revenue.

With Meadowhall leading the charge, shoppers can expect a seamlessly charged experience that propels them into a sustainable future.
